Australian Islamic Marriage Celebrants
Welcome to the home of Australian Islamic Marriage Celebrants . I'm an Authorised Islamic Marriage Celebrants in Australia.
My name is Sheikh Mohamad Hbous, I'm a religion and Civil Marriage Celebrant. Studied Islamic Religion for over 20 years, A Justice of the Peace, Community Supports Person.
Your wedding day is one of the most important and special days of your life. It is so important to get it right! My role is to assist you through the whole process, and it is an absolute pleasure to do so.
From organizing all the legal paperwork, though to your choice of your own unique ceremony, making sure we include anything that highlights your personalities, your own beliefs and desires in every way. Then deliver the ceremony with warmth and sincerity. To provide you with an unforgettable ceremony and a day full of satisfaction.
It is the extra touches that make the difference and I have a few of them to offer, and you may even have some of your own. I would be more then happy to perform a ceremony for any religion. I do perform Islamic ceremonies.
Whilst I live in Liverpool, I am willing to travel to your desired location, and to your home (in most cases) for our meetings or any necessary appointments.
I would be delighted to meet you and you can then decide if I am the right celebrant for you - absolutely no obligations!
Looking forward to being of service to you.

Your Marriage
Couples intending to marry are welcome to contact me for an obligation free chat and/or to seek information about the legal requirements of marriage in Australia.
You will need to complete a Notice of Intended Marriage at least one calendar month and one day before marrying and this notice is valid for 18 months.
Often you meet in person with me to do this and you must provide your original, official birth certificate and/or overseas passport, personal photographic identification and evidence of termination of any previous marriage (or death or nullity).
Once the Notice of Intended Marriage is signed, you and I can work together to develop and finalize your ceremony. You may like to meet to rehearse the ceremony and you will need to sign a Declaration of Marriage that indicates they are free to wed before your marriage.
On your wedding day couples are encouraged to be punctual and enjoy your ceremony. You are required to sign Certificates of Marriage before your chosen witnesses who are over the age of 18 and within hearing of the vows, so your marriage may be formally registered following the ceremony.
All couples are given their commemorative Certificate of Marriage and a keep sake copy of their ceremony to remind them of the promises they have exchanged during their ceremony. Your marriage is then registered by me with the Registry fo Births, Deaths ad Marriages in the State/Territory where the ceremony took place. -
Civil Celebrant
Civil Celebrants offer choice to ensure your ceremony is sincere, personal and meaningful. A Civil Marriage Celebrant (CMC) is registered by the Department of Attorney General to solemnise civil marriages anywhere in Australia. They are bound by a Code of Conduct.
As a R&CMC, Sheikh Mohamad Hbous proudly offers ceremonies that reflect the hopes, dreams and personalities of those involved. The vision at Licensed to Wed is that you will enjoy and remember your special day always.Sheikh Mohamad Hbous range of ceremony options will help you get started. Alternatively, you may prefer to craft your own ceremony or ask Sheikh Mohamad Hbous to write or tailor one to meet your particular needs and preferences.Remember, while an expensive wedding gown may quickly be outgrown or outmoded, a quality ceremony by a professional celebrant will be remembered forever.
It is important to feel comfortable with a celebrant that listens to you, offers you a value for money service that meets all legal requirements, informs you of available relationship support services and provides for your ethno-specific and cultural preferences.Legal Requirements
As part of your marriage, it is my responsibility to ensure that the legal requirements are met.
